About us
A job board for one place and one profession.
cruitme is a small, independent project from central Scotland. It does one thing: helps IT people find and apply for good jobs in the central belt, without trawling a dozen websites.
Why it exists
If you work in IT in the central belt, the jobs are out there, but they’re scattered. Some are on the big boards, some only on an agency’s own site, and the same role often turns up three times under different titles. Checking them all every day is a job in itself.
cruitme was started by Raymond Doyle, a business analyst based in Bo’ness, to fix that. It pulls IT roles from across the area into one list, and keeps only the ones you could actually commute to, or do from home.
Then it helps with the part that matters most: making each application fit the job. For any role you shortlist, it shows how well your CV matches, flags what to prepare for, and rewords your CV and a cover note for that advert.
What we stand by
How cruitme works, and how it won’t.
Truthful CVs
The AI only rewords, reorders and trims what is already in your CV. It never adds experience you don’t have, and it tells you honestly where you fall short.
You press send
cruitme never applies for jobs on your behalf. You check your CV and apply yourself, on the employer’s or agency’s site.
Fair to job sites
Jobs come from official feeds and APIs. We don’t scrape sites whose terms say no, and every listing links back to the original advert.
Local first
Greenock to Musselburgh, Bridge of Allan to East Kilbride, plus remote roles anywhere in the UK. If you can’t get there or do it from home, it doesn’t make the list.
Where it’s at
cruitme is in private testing with a small group of people. We’re fixing what doesn’t work and adding sources as we go. You can create an account now; we approve new accounts by hand while we test.
